How does that work in detail?
We use fully synthetic oil. This is the basic requirement because it has a decisive advantage: Additives (e.g. adhesive additives) can be added. This does not work with mineral oil products. In addition to adhesive additives and our innofluid® additive, we add extremely penetrating detergent substances. An important additional point: The lubricating performance of fully synthetic oils is significantly higher. The manufacturing process, however, is more noticeable.
We now know our starting product.
Which steps are important in chain maintenance in order to achieve an optimal result?
Step 1: Cleaning
So that a chain oil can do its work on the surface and in the inner chain bearing, the chain must be cleaned beforehand. Otherwise you just smear old dirt. We have therefore added specially designed detergent substances to the fully synthetic oil. This results in permanent, continuous cleaning of the surfaces. Much better still - the washing-active substances penetrate deep into the inner bearing and dissolve rust, dirt and deposits as well as resinification there. The dirt particles are rinsed out of the entire chain.
It now takes about 6 to 8 hours for the active washing substances to evaporate. The lubricant remains.
Step 2: Lubricate
The innofluid® additive (lubricant) can now attach to and in the chain. Depending on the application profile such. B. mountain bikers, racing cyclists, e-bikers, the ingredients and mixing ratios are coordinated. By the way, our products can all be combined! In addition, it should be said that a thin, almost dry film of lubricant forms!
Step 3: Protect
Every cyclist loves clean chains. Thick, oily and damp films of lubricant attract the dirt magically. That is why we rely on the advantage of the thin, almost dry lubricating film. This attracts almost no dirt. In addition, it infiltrates moisture, displaces moisture and thus provides excellent protection against corrosion. So you get the complete package of cleaning, lubricating and protecting from one innobike box!
